A real beginner here. I'm an overweight 48 year old. Feeling a bit silly doing the running bit. I think I look ridiculous and am bright red in the face 😂 Determined to keep it up and hopefully get fit and lose a bit of weight!

We all have to start somewhere. I've been running for a while now and am still red faced. Best of luck with the programme im sure you'll feel great! 😁

You’ll soon forget about all of that, don’t worry! ❤️ I’m overweight and used to be very self-conscious when I first started C25K but it soon wears off. I was completely out of breath and dying by the last time I was done with running a minute, and last night I just ran 8 minutes while holding a conversation?! It’s amazing how much your body adapts! Well done for starting, that is seriously the hardest part. If you can find a friend to join you on one run a week, it will give you some really good motivation. Good luck! 🤞🏼😊

Red face queen that’s me too but who cares? You’re doing something positive and can be proud! Good luck with the plan .

Welcome 111970. Fabulous that you have done Wk1R2. I get how it feels silly. After not running since school it takes a few runs to find your legs. I hate to tell you though that I still get red faced each time I run 🥵. Take it really slow and steady. That’s the magic bit. Keep posting how you are getting on. Good luck for R3.

Well done for starting! I know exactly how you feel, I ran mostly in the dark until I felt more confident. Do take heart, take it slow and you can do this! Read the info from links below. Good luck🌈
