Canicrossing friend and I were meant to be running together today, but then she realised she was volunteering at her youngest child’s school today 🤦♀️
Which actually made my day simpler as it meant I only had to walk the two older dogs before heading out for a free run with the 3 younger ones.
I really did think I’d turned my tracking app on, but I think actually my fingers were possibly a bit too cold for it to register that I’d hit the button 🤦♀️ And I didn’t realise until I got to the end of my 28 minute run.
Luckily I’d screenshot my walk earlier - because I’d had a vague idea of doing that route as my walk/run, but ultimately there were too many horses close to the fence in one field for me to risk it. So I took a screenshot as I started my cool down walk, and another when I got to the car, which at least gives me a rough idea of how far I’d come during my warm up walk and run

Good run... and you’ve just given me the workaround/backup plan for when my tracker fails... the other week I was 10 minutes in and had 0.01 miles on the screen... I just started it again and set the time for the remaining estimated distance... I forgot about the health screen!
Yeah... even more so now I’m starting to use headphones... I’ll have an alarm as a backup for over running, but it’s a pain in the butt when I need to restart. It’s a shame we can’t add a marker into the health app... I may have to suggest this.
Oh... found it... if you tap on the miles and then show all data, you get a list of the individual movements... I just looked at my tailwalk from Saturday where I stopped to talk to marshals, it’s chopped the run into little bits... run on Sunday is in one. So, need to stop for a few seconds between brisk walk and run and I think it will log properly, I’ll test it this weekend
Looks like if I look at a combination of screens I can get a runs data and then it could be put back into a tracker... so only the gps data would be missing.
