Slowing down!?

Just completed w7r2. I suffered a lot of tightness in my shins and calves up until now but this seems to be getting better now. However I’m finding to complete these longer runs that I’m having to slow down so much. Think I’m doing that Japanese slow running thingy without realising it. Feeling bit frustrated at how slow I am

C25K is about building stamina and learning to pace yourself.

Of course you have to slow down to run longer distances........so do elite athletes.

When you graduate I will send you a guide to post C25K running which will tell you to slow down even more.

Slow running develops you aerobically and builds muscle effectively.

Slow runners live longer too.
