I can’t believe it! I’ve completed C25K. Admittedly I did w9/r2 & 3 several times over as it took me about a month after a chest infection to really get going again. But this was my challenge to myself after my 60th birthday and I cannot tell you how much I’ve loved running. Crisp early mornings, gorgeous sunsets, rain, wind and cold - I’ve experienced it all and for someone who’s always rather curl up in bed I was actually inspired to get up and out. There were times when I felt as if I could hardly put one foot in front of the other and then times when I just flew along effortlessly. It’s been a real ‘journey’! Now my aim is to actually make it to 5k in 30 mins as I’m always just short of that distance. It’s such a great programme and for the first time in my life I can really call myself a runner. How do I the graduate banner? Thanks
Done it!: I can’t believe it! I’ve completed C... - Couch to 5K

Keep running keep smiling.
Wow - congratulations
Congratulations. Don’t stress on that 5k... bag it by extending a run and then reel it in with some speed work. Celebrate the life changing (and extending) achievement, enjoy your consolidation and the next running adventure.
You should be really proud of yourself, I’m not far off 59 and it took me 45 minutes to cover 5k at a local park run, but you’re so right, it’s the enjoyment that is the thing happy running😊
Congratulations! 🎉🎉
Many congratulations, the shiny badge suits you. Like you , I started at 60. And believe me this is only the start of your journey- there are so many possibilities . Parkrun is great fun if you have one near you. You can start at the back with a 5 min walk and then run 30 mins before walking again. It’s very supportive. After a period of consolidation just build up one run a week to increase your total distance by 10% until you get to 5k. It doesn’t matter how long it takes. Great tips from IannodaTruffe too. Within 7 months I was running 10k - thanks to the Bridge to 10k community. 👏👏🍾🥂😀
Well done..thats great..I'm only on my 2nd run but loving it already! 🏃♀️🙂
Well done! And keep going - slowly and steadily and don’t be afraid to repeat runs if you feel you need to. But I found the programme, even when the next step looked like a scary leap, is so brilliantly designed to get you there. 🏃🏼♀️
