About time!!!!

I've just finished w4 c25k and I'm gutted with myself that my mindset was never ready for anything like this before. Something inside me changed drastically for the better and I wish I could bottle it but I don't know what it is. I am soooo incredibly glad I came across this app which has made me get off my butt and it has literally become a new fix which I can't do without. It's amazing thank you x

The important thing is you are doing it now AND you are hooked! Perhaps if you’d started before you might not have stuck to it? C25k is so brilliant - such an achievement in such a short space of time. A blooming miracle!!

Thanks for the reply. How do you feel with the c25k, has the bug for it bitten you.

It really has. I’ve been consolidating my runs and am now adding more time to some. I absolutely love it and feel great doing it. Tomorrow I’m going to try my first 40 min run! I started on 9th Nov and when I think back to those early runs!!! 🤣🤣

That's brilliant and I hope the run goes really well. May it feel like angels are carrying your feet for an enjoyable run.

I know exactly what you mean - I wish I'd stated this 20 years ago!

I blame school PE lessons that convinced me I couldn't run!

Is it's a shame we weren't younger. We probably didn't do it in PE Because the teachers hated running themselves....

Running in our PE lessons was always based on racing. If you know before you start that you’re going to be last and everyone is going to mock you, it’s hard to find any joy in the run 😂

Those are very true words my friend.

Indeed - sad but true ! So glad I found this programme instead. I quite enjoy running now, and no-one mocks me no matter how slow I am 😄

How are your new trainers?😊

Hiya, Hope you are well. I got a pair of Brooks on a store fitting and recommendation and they feel like nothing I've tried before. I've got to be honest and say I had never heard of the make of shoe before but then again, i have never been looking to buy running shoes until i found c25k. Incredible soft and supportive. A bit more than I wanted to spend but as it was mentioned before, it's investing in your feet and health. I hope your continued training is working for you and treating you well.

Yes thank you, I'm doing ok 😊

I'm so pleased you are getting so much out of this, and it is a bit addictive! You finish one run and start thinking about the next.....😬

So many positive words on here I'm truly amazed. May the world of negativity in which we live run to c25k and perhaps the good vibes will flow across the land.

I found getting out there regularly did wonders for my self respect (in spite of the shocked looks from passers by !) and it sounds like you’re finding the same thing happening to you. Enjoy it - you’re earning it ! Happy running x

I totally agree with you there. I was very self conscious to start with and still am a bit but we're the ones out running and not the one's watching.

Exactly. Which is worse to look at - me jogging through the woods, or me slobbed out on the sofa ? No contest ! 😂
