Give it a go and find out. Be careful though, it’s addictive.

When i started week one,the 1 minute of running seemed so hard,my breathing was awful. It has got easier and tomorrow I'll be running for 25 minutes which seems incredible to me!Just do it and see how you get on,it's tried and tested programme.I'm over 2 stone overweight,it would be easier if i lost weight.I haven't lost any but feel fitter so it's really worth it.Good luck.

Yes it's sooo worth it.

From nothing to running (shuffling in my case) for 30 mins in a few weeks.

It's strange at first but as you progress you get into your own rhythm.

Stick with the plan.

Go at your own pace.

Come back here after your session and let us know how you are getting on.

Try walking for a couple of weeks first to get your confidence up.

Weight loss - I lost about 3lbs over the weeks, but I was not trying as it was not my goal.

Hope this helps 🏃

Hey, the program is great, bloody tough but definitely addictive. I’m not doing it to lose weight, bmi is 21, but to get fit. I can def see a big improvement in my fitness although could be an awful lot better. I’m only on wk 6 so far. And it’s so good for mental health too. Just go for it. Every run is such an achievement.

You may not lose weight unless you also do a slimming programme, but you will lose inches and feel soooo much better. This is a lovely forum. Do keep coming back. 😊👍 The hardest bit is going out the door the first time; after that, it’s very rewarding in lots of ways.

Do not do it to lose weight. I have been doing it for cardio. I play rugby so weight loss is not going to happen as I am still toning up the jiggle.

Measure yourself, this will give you an idea what is going on. And importantly remember to eat well. Pick better choices and stick to it (I say as I eat grapes..yay)
