Week 8 run 2 done today. I've got plantar fasciitis and has to stop at 13 minutes of running and walk to stretch my changes back out. I only walked for 25 double steps though, big strides to stretch my muscles out, then ran the rest. I expected to have to do the same again but I didn't and managed to complete the rest of the run successfully.
I thought my route was 4K but my partner ran it today with his running watch and measured the distance and including the 5 min walk at each end I covered 4.8k. So that's almost 5k in about 40 minutes which I'm chuffed at as I was thinking if I try a Parkrun I'd be about 50-55 minutes and now thinking I'd maybe manage in 45. π
