Today's run felt tough, but I was quite glad of that in a way, almost makes it feel more of an achievement. I am genuinely amazed that I made it this far, absolutely delighted though!
Thank you so much to everyone who has posted their successes, struggles and advice - lots of it has really helped along the way.
Thank you too to my Bluetooth headphones and Runderwear knickers ... you've made this journey so much more comfortable π
Rather fitting too that Bon Jovi popped up a couple of times on my playlist - firstly with the words "we're half way there" as the bell rang, and secondly as I crossed the virtual finish line with "ooh, she's a little runaway" - or, as I have taken the liberty of rewriting it, "ooh, she's a little runner, yay!!!"

Mine are only Β£10 Sony wired buds but they're perfect for me - sound great, fit just right and comfortable, and never fall out. I'm now looking for a good set of wireless ones that will match what I get from these, just without the cable (oh, and preferably just as cheap).
Linkwitz Marathon2 - earbuds don't stay put in my ears very well, were driving me nuts for the first couple of weeks of the programme, before I got these. Been really pleased with them, I can actually put them on and forget about them!
Hey, I dunno... if there isnβt, we kinda need one... or a variation on a high 5 so we can keep running! Iβll start high fiving all local runners while rubbing my left ear as of tomorrow!
