W7R1 How the weeks are flying

Did W6R3 Saturday and then yesterday couldn't go for my normal jog around the park as the washer engineer was due at anytime between 9 & 6 (same day washer broke so shouldn't complain really) He did turn up at 11.30 but I've found I'm definitely a morning runner, preferably straight after the school run. So this morning practically threw the kids into school and went straight into w7r1. Must admit last week I definitely felt the 25mins solid running, the middle was horrendous as my brain was shouting "NOOOO GIVE UP" for a good few minutes. Today though I slowed down a bit and went straight through it, only had a wobble at about 22 mins when I thought my legs would fall off lol! The best thing was that even when I'd finished I was still breathing properly. Can't believe that 7 weeks ago I sounded like I was having a heart attack after just w1r1 and now I sang along at the end with no breathing problems.

Great running... and huge progress there fitness wise. Enjoy run 2... week 7 delivers some strength and hopefully that means your legs won’t try to fall off!!

Well done and great to know that the 25 minutes gets a bit easier. I just did run three of weeks six and also felt my legs in the last three minutes!
