Week 6 Run 2

Have to say didn’t feel comfortable on the treadmill tonight. Felt like I was either going too slow or too fast. It’s only my second run/jog on the treadmill so maybe I’m just not used to it yet. Does anyone have any tips?

It’s either what IannodaTruffe said... or a case of sucking it up and getting used to it I’m aftaid. I don’t get on with treadmills, and refuse to run on one unless I’ve 2 feet of snow and it’s not gone after 2 weeks 😂

Here’s the thing though... it sucked... but you did it. You have good mental strength and physically you’re developing well too!

Enjoy run 3.

And you’ll love it when you’re back outside!

I don’t use a treadmill myself, but the general advice here is that too slow will always be better than too fast. All the best with the next one x

I very occasionally use a treadmill if I can’t run outside. I start at a gentle trot, ( very fast walk pace) & gradually ease up the pace. If I over do it I ease it back down again... so I tweak the pace quite a lot before settling. 😃
