Argh! After a couple of gorgeous (if cold) mornings that I waved at from behind the wheel on my way to work, my day off has brought rain, slush and general grey dingy dreariness. I had been imagining icy crunching underfoot and sunshine filtering through trees, but it is just grim out there. I’m sitting here in Aldi’s finest base layers (I dressed optimistically for running this morning) with wet running shoes from walking 20 yards from car to house. I haven’t run since graduating on Tuesday night and can imagine all my fledgling fitness oozing away...

we have about 6 inches and I live on a steep hill. Normally that is part of my warm up walk but today I can't even get to the flat - let alone run! I don't want to get out of the habit!

Still icy here. ❄ as you know I'm a bit of a stubborn mare, if I decide to run I'll run, regardless of rain, slush, snow! I vote get out there and do it! That half isnt going to run itself 😁

My main concern is slipping on black ice - I don’t think it is worth taking the risk. After this morning’s run I am only one run away from graduating but if it is not ok on Sunday I will delay until it is.
