Huawei p20 lite

Does anyone know why this app doesn't connect with a Huawei p20 lite? I'm absolutely gutted.

Or has anyone connected with this phone?

I installed it when I bought the phone. It works for the warm up and the 1st 5 minutes after that then resets itself.

I contacted Huawei and the said I should reboot the phone which I did. Had the same problem after. So I've been using my Huawei app. Just tried it again and still only works for 10 minutes and reboots itself.

So contacted Huawei again and they said it might be a compatibility issue with the app...

I know the app is buggy.

Have you tried reinstalling it? This often sorts out issues with Android apps.
