After nearly a week without running, due to one of the bugs going round, I set off this morning, just for a twenty minute run. As my legs aren't very long, I find that 170 bp suits my stride, and found a great Spotify playlist, that really got me speeding along to the beat. I tried the Audiofuel tracks but, being of the older persuasion, I really prefer a nice tuneful melody!
I've now found all sorts of playlists and songs listed in various posts here - absolutely great! Being a child of the (not-so-swinging) sixties, I'm particularly impressed by all the relevant songs mentioned by Jancanrun and others. My only issue is that they seem to be a lower bpm. However, I think that the mere fact of listening to up-beat music that I love will help my enjoyment of running, and it won't matter if I'm not necessarily running to the beat. What do others think?
