W6 finally finished

Well it has taken me since Christmas to get from week 4 to week 6 but I am happy to say I managed that 25 minute run with oxygen to spare. I bought some snazzy running gear this morning but then didn't dare wear it in case I ended up walking - but hey ho I am going to be wearing it from now on. ...... I have also just got onto Strava - I don't really know what I am doing but apparently my pace for 5km was 38:38 so I was quite pleased with my efforts today!

Whoop whoop! Go mafee! You are officially a runner, right?!

So that’s about a 7’39” pace which is very respectable round these parts! No stopping you now 😊

Ah thanks - I actually felt like I got into a proper rhythm in the last half so I think I am on my way now! Having somewhere to crow has really help me !!

Buddy is right to remind us not to worry about pace - apart from my last run, for the last three (in week 8) I have slowed down a lot more and am finding it so much more enjoyable as a result. I kept thinking my pace should be getting faster, or remaining consistent, despite the fact we are increasing our distances week by week 🙄. Getting all that running info is very exciting though, it’s hard not to be intrigued by it! 😊

Don't worry how long it takes to get through the weeks of running , the point is you're doing it go out and show off your new running gear 😊
