AlMorr Ambassador Graduate 5 years ago No it's not considered bad practice to go for a 10 kilometer walk on a rest day from C25K, as long as you don't run on your rest day, that is OK.

Thank you glad about that, I encourage all my Office out for 5K at lunch, got to look after their health too.

That's interesting, asking your work colleagues to start training on the C25K training program, how many have taken up the offer.?

Not the C25K for them, just the walking every Lunchtime, still got one to persuade, and he is the youngest in the Office.

Very good, better going a walk at your lunch break (or a run, after graduating from C25K) than sitting at a computer playing games

Hidden in reply to KevinFG 5 years ago Just out of interest, how long does it take you to walk 5K? You must have a generous lunch hour which allows to you to eat and take such a long walk

KevinFG Graduate in reply to Hidden 5 years ago Eat while working, no need to stop, I have a stand-up/Sit down desk so that makes it easier, and we work 1 hour more than contract each day so never a problem to make it work.

Walking is a good way to stretch the legs. Do you really do 10km or 10000steps? Both fine, just interested!
