Hi, I’m 48 and after listen to a pod cast by women that ran a marathon without really training or giving anything I thought surely I can manage 5K .....eventually! So I signed up today and did the 1st run. It was hard and I just about managed it. Hopefully I will improve with time and hopefully get fitter and possibly loose a few pounds !

Go for it. I am on week 8 and loving it, at 60 and a non-runner!

I just did day 1 of week 1 after listening to a podcast with Bryony Gordon. Im 44 and quite overweight and thought my running days were long gone. But she inspired me and off I went. Looking forward to getting fit and slimmer!!!
