I’m feeling pleased with myself today. Started back to work after being off work 6 months post op. The voice in my head saying you’re too knackered don’t bother with the gym but I went and managed w3r1. Someone at work says I should have a gait test and I should be doing yoga? Help! Am I doing the running wrong

Great start. Yoga can help, as can many other exercises on your rest days, just no running. Gait analysis is certainly worth doing, and will help to minimise any aches and pains.

At the moment on alternate days I’m doing a gym camp so that helps

Well done Lesley2606 . I completed W2R1 today. Ignoring those negative voices for me is as big an accomplishment as doing the run.

I'm planning to get a gait analysis in week 4 and hopefully treat myself to new running shoes.

Keep going, we can do this!
