Took the plunge and done run 1 of week 1, currently over 22stone. Been a long time since i was active at all. I discovered i wobble alot and i ache already. Did i enjoy it??? Yes i did!!!!! Wished id done this months ago.

Well done, I’m in week 1 too, felt like a bus had run over me this morning but still went for run 2, I’m telling myself the aches are good aches and thinking how much better I’m going to feel in a few months, keep up the good work 👍😄

He's right. The guide is vital reading.

Especially the stretching. Some of the stretches aren't simple for the bigger man so some improvisation may be needed. Well done for doing this. I dropped out twice and now on my third attempt. Don't give up!

Great start! If you enjoyed it you’re doing way better than I did on run one... I really wanted to stop, lie down and wait for the ambulance! Keep running just like you did today and you’ll have no problems by the sounds of it, nice steady (slow) pace is all that’s needed. You can do this whole thing for sure. Enjoy run 2
