Always wanted to run, not very good at it, 49 years young, went on my couch to 5k wk1r3 today, got just over 1/2 way & calf muscle, started hurting, now walking with a limp ☹️ I really don’t want to give up, what should I do?

No don't give up your body and legs are just getting used to your new exercise try again after a rest day and see what happens
Thank you
You’ll get niggles. It’s a fact. As you keep slowly plugging away you’ll lose the niggles Keep going. You can take two days break between runs if needs be 🙂
Thank you, I’m gutted, I won’t lie I’m finding this running really hard but I’m not gonna give up, currently in the middle of an 8 hour shift in a supermarket, lots of walking & limping lol calf really hurts to drive too but I’ll just rest up for a little when not working & then I’ll go & try again 😊
