I graduated on 9th Dec and have been getting 3 runs done per week since. I’m managing 3k regularly now which I’m super pleased as upon graduation I was only running 2.7/2.8k. My time has improved with my best time for 3k being 29mins and 25secs.

Today though I did my first run outside, using the Stepping Stones podcast. I was nervous as I have never run outdoors plus it was really cold tonight and this affected my breathing initially.

I was super pleased to have completed it and found the podcast to be great. I kept up with the pace throughout too.

I’m still at a snails pace taking tiny steps which amuses my hubby no end! But I’m running and bloody loving it. Once I’ve mastered this outdoor malarkey I’m going to join a local running club.

Sorry about the long post, keep running ❤️🐌🐢

Great job... welcome to the great outdoors. You’re running and loving it... that’s the most important things ticked right there... speed is increasing gradually so it’s all going very well by the looks of it. Happy new year and happy running.

Well done, I’m a snail too, w7 I’m averaging 2.7/2.8 k in total including the warm up but not warn down! Despite that I’m really enjoying it. I too have contacted a running club. Happy running 🏃‍♀️
