Back in Easter I was clinically obese and very unfit. A keto diet got my BMI below 26 and then 5 weeks ago I started this running plan. I used to play prop forward and never saw my self as a runner, and the twenty minute run at the end of this week loomed on the horizon like a dark satanic mill. Well, not only have I just completed it, I actually enjoyed it, and what’s more felt like there was plenty more in the tank.

If you’re just starting this, keep going, the 5 week build up definitely gets you fit enough. Oh, and I’m now officially below BMI 25, which means I’m technically a normal weight - haven’t been able to say that since I was 15.
