That made me laugh. Have you tried talking when you are running! Despite how slow I go it doesn’t quite work for me. I will sing badly in my head instead as I go along.

I run alone, so if I talked too I’d get even more startled and horrified stares than I do now 😁

Long term dream to have a dog - we’re both out of work just now so couldn’t sensibly afford one. Still, I could always say I’m practising for when we do get one 😄

Yes that is correct UNM. Twelfth Night is the 6th of January, by then we should all be back to normal and concentrate on 🏃. running. 😊 I have not been running recently but I hope to resume it soon with a rerun of my 30 minute graduate run which I ran on the 18 June, weather permitting. 😊 🏃 🎓 I will not run in a snow storm, a force 8 gale , thick fog, heavy rain, a thunderstorm or on icy surfaces.

I’m doing such short runs at the moment that the weather can do anything it likes... just hoping we don’t get too much of the white stuff in January and February, but I’m looking forward to the spring and getting some mileage in.

Congratulations ButtercupKid on a excellent version of the Twelve Days of Christmas, 🎄 I especially like the 9th part regarding nine pints if water, if any runner drank all that water not long before a 5 or 10K run I would image that there would be a number of stops😉🤔😂, anyway a great post from you once again. I hope that everyone in your family is fine and that you are already to have a wonderful Christmas.

my running socks are my favourite bit of kit, and you have given them the accolade they deserve😁... of course we all wish we had more pairs of those padded beauties...but they are quite pricey😆...

Thanks BBR. Have to admit it took me a while to decide what worked best for the crucial 5 line, but the socks won because they paired so well with line 6 (!) Besides, happy feet make a happy runner 😀🦶🏼😀🏃‍♀️😄
