Well, only one more run and I've done it. Although I'm doing the full 30minutes I'm only actually running 3K. Do I continue to add a couple of minutes gradually or try to run faster? Any advice please.

If you look at this poll healthunlocked.com/couchto5.... you will see that only a small percentage of graduates do a sub 30 minute 5k during the programme.

Stick at your pace......... you are doing great........ graduate, then you will be sent a link to future running possibilities.

Relax and enjoy it!

Well done on achieving W9 We are at same stage. I will do W9 R3 today! I'm also covering a tad over 2 miles which is 3.2k. My partner already covers same distance overall as me and he is just finished W4. But he is perfect weight and male which I'm told makes quite a difference. I'm not worrying about distance as I can tell I'm picking to speed gradually. Good luck and congratulations.

Hi. I was only getting to 4.3km after finishing wk9. I started week 10 by doing 3 32 min runs and week 11 35mins. I got to the 5KM on the first run of week 12 in 38mins. I would slowly increase but don't worry how long it takes. You are you and everyone is different. I'm up to 50 mins now and 6.5km

I am on week 6, I am 54 and "run" at 6.5k, I did the c25k 2 years ago running at 6.5k after finishing I upped my speed to 7k which made my knees warm. Not wanting to cause and damage I will keep running at 6.5k. I hope to do a 10k run before easter ( on my treadmill )

I would recommend only small increases in speed and see how it goes, being realistic, I will plod on at 6.5k.

Good luck.
