Painful muscles at top of hips

Just completed Wk7R3 managed the run for 25 mins at second attempt initially only ran for 14 mins as was uncomfortable but reset and went for full 25 mins gave me a sense of achievement but have got tenderness in muscles above hips😞 anyone got any suggestions on how I loosen up these muscles?

Post run stretches help, as can hydration and keeping active on none running days... it may also be worth taking an extra rest day. Great running.

Are you saying you ran for thirty nine minutes in one session?

That might explain study muscles.
