So after making steady progress to end week 6, week 7 proved to be an absolute beast. 12 days inbetween run 1 and 2 proved to be an absolute killer for me, I had plenty of good excuses (and several bad ones) but it was too long inbetween runs and it culminated in me not completing a run for the first time.
Amazing how your mind can talk yourself into quitting sometimes. Anyway, a couple of days later the Dragon was slayed, Luke defeated his Vader, Ann won the maximum amount of meals for camp and I conquered week 7.
Week 8 will be easier right?

You have the will, you know you do, so yes W8 should prove no problem. Just 3 little extra minutes per run. Take it nice and slow and it’ll be in the bag before you know it! 👊
Yes to me it was. I was away September, so had to repeat week 8 . Couldn’t do it first time , then I had to stop and walk but then I carried out and done whole of week 8 the next week
Hi Rich, what a great story of tenacity. Thank you for posting. I will be at week 7 next week, and will be starting a new assignment 90 miles away, so will be doing couch25k from hotel room around unfamiliar roads. Looking forward to it in some ways but not looking forward to all runs in the dark. I guess we all need to return to work eventually
