Yep! Completed on my 5th attempt. But it was my own fault for going too fast. Once I slowed it right down it was easy!
Learn from my mistakes and you'll do fine 🏃♂️
On paper it’s a beast. Run it with a good positive happy attitude and slow jog till laura says stop!! I did it first time really couldn’t believe it considering the lack of fitness I have. W8 now 👍

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, it is a big jump in C25K so there is no harm whatsoever on repeating it or for that matter any runs on the program.
I was very nervous about that run but once I completed it I was very happy. I live in Scotland and ran that 20 minute run around a Loch about 20 miles away from where I live, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs 🏃 😊.

You can do it... keep the pace right down... you’ll feel amazing at the end.
No, never heard of that before, you're the first to fail. Ever. 😉. Only joking, of course. But don't think of it as failure, you gave it a go, you weren't quite ready, but you'll do it the next time, I'm sure. Just take it slowly, especially at the start, plenty of time to work on speed later if you feel you want to. Well done for getting this far 👍
I've been back and just finished it okay not the fastest run but done really happy now thank you all for kind words

Anybody can have a bad run on any day. As far as I can tell from posts on here, a bad run is no more or less likely on this run than any other.
Week 5 run 3 is not actually a big jump physically but there’s a psychological barrier to be overcome. In fact, you have been running for 15/16 minutes for two weeks now, you’ve done it five times, so 20 minutes isn’t that different. What is different in week 5 is the gradual reduction in walking breaks from three in week 4, to two then one and finally no walking break at all in W5R3. You got from three breaks down to one so you can make the final step.
As others have said you do need to take it slowly and if you feel like walking - don’t walk but slow your running even more instead.
You may have hit a psychological barrier rather than a physical one. OR, it may be nothing to do with that and it was just your day to have a bad run as happens to everyone now and again. But either way don’t let it get you down: take your rest day and go again, knowing from the experience of thousands of others that it is achievable.
