Wow. After missing a run due to hubby being ill I wasn’t prepared for tonight’s group run. I expected to run for 28 mins and that extra 2 that was thrown at us was a bit of a shock.

Bit even though we have just technically started week 7, I did it! Ran 3.85km but given the driving wind and rain for part of the run I don’t care!!!

Feeling a bit achy and tired but hot bath has helped now off to bed to try to sleep.

Planning for us to run another 30 as a group next week and do a 5k together on the last week as a prep for the park run.

Doing a couple of shorter interval runs during the week to help build up a bit more stamina.

Feel like I have achieved something. Never thought I would be running for 30 mins 6 weeks ago. Happy days xx

All confusing! Good run!

Short interval runs won’t build stamina like the runs you should be doing!!?

The runs she is going to have us do are 15/2/15 and then 10/2/10 so not that short. To help us build up stamina and speed.

I did wonder but she is the expert and we have all managed the runs so far x
