5k in the rain

Another 5k this morning but in the rain. Oh I love running in the rain. Pity I've to work in it tho. 26.55 this morning. I didn't push it, I'm fact I was trying to slow it. So happy all round.

Excellent time JL, and you didn't push it, you called it 'slow' 26.55!! most people can only dream of a time like that here on C25K, I wonder how long it would have been if you had pushed it, probably sub 25 minutes which I am sure you will achieve soon. You say you don't mind running in the rain but not working in it, I assume you have an outside job.

Yeah delevery driver for tesco. I was sitting thinking that I sprung out of bed for my run. Didn't even bat an eye lid at the rain. In fact I love running in the rain. Cools me down. Then I was sitting thinking could I sound sick in the phone. Lol, but I couldn't so 2hrs into a 10 hr shift.

Tesco, that is where I do all my main shopping, the staff at the Cumbernauld Tesco Extra branch are all very friendly, I am sure it's a good company to work for despite the 10-hour shift.

Yes they aren't bad tbh. Could be alot worse. Dont think I could work inside shop tho. Somthing to be said about getting out and about tho.

I was a postman for 20 years, now retired, like you, I enjoyed working outside.
