Hello fellow C25kers!
Had a lovely easy going 36 minute graduate consolidation run this morning with my eldest kitten.
On the warmdown walk my right kneecap tried to escape out the side! Owch!
It went back without me doing the hands clasped around the knee while rolling around on the floor move. Who wants to do that on a soggy pavement?
I think it was my body reminding me I need to get back in the saddle. So I stayed in my running gear, changed the batteries on my rear helmet light, donned said helmet, put on the shades with rear view mirror and wheeled out the hybrid bike for a short hilly cycle.
Mrs Katnap had reminded me that we were expecting a delivery from Ocado between 1030 and 1130. " but they usually come around 10" she says.
So off I go. Against the wind. I hate the wind.
And up the hill. I like hills.
So I'm huffing and puffing up and down hills and against the wind. Coming up to a junction where I can choose steeper hills or a back roads route I check the time... 930!!! Where did that time go? So I wait for a gap in traffic and double back for the gotta get back home for Ocado sprint!
In seconds I'm up through all the gears. I'm in top gear! The wind is actually helping 😸🌀

Ocado arrived at 1105... I could've rode for a bit longer but maybe it was just as well I rushed back. Now on to core strength exercises.
