For everyone, but especially all who are involved in a parkrun today. To the tune of “Morningtown Ride” (Rocking, Rolling, Riding)

Right, let’s get ready:

It’s a running day,

Some of us are children

And some just feel that way !

Run, jog, walk or crawling

Out along the way

Dreaming of week 9 run 3,

Graduation Day.

We don’t have an engine,

We don’t need a bell,

Knowing you’re out running

Helps me run as well.

Run, jog, walk or crawling etc

Maybe it is raining

Where our feet must stride

But no-one gets fitter

Sitting down inside !

Run, jog, walk or crawling etc

Some time we will triumph,

Some time this will pay,

Some day you, and I as well,

Will achieve 5k.

Run, jog, walk or crawling etc.
