Running....me!!

Well it took me 10 weeks but yesterday I graduated from couch to 5k. I did it!! Cant believe that I can now run (albeit slow) for 30 minutes non stop. Only covering about 2.4 miles in 30 mins but I can work on that. Just got to keep going and forget about my constant aching muscles. Never ran in my life before but now aged 48 Im giving it a go and quite proud of myself. Thanks for all support, great programme.

Fantastic stuff and it's just the best feeling ever isn't it? I completed last Saturday with a Parkrun which you should try now.

Congratulations Pqb. Fantastic achievement. Slow is the way to go, reducing the risk of injury & building on those running legs. So I’d say you’ve completed C25K spot on 👏👏👏 well run you & enjoy your celebrations 🎓🥇🥂🍾🎉🎊👍🏻

Congratulations! 2.4 miles is good... it’s 2.4 miles more than you ran 11 weeks ago. Consolidation now can help all those aches... no increases and run it until it’s comfortable. Enjoy celebrating and your future running.

That’s amazing. Well done. I take 58 mins to do 5k but as you said, the speed and distance are a work in progress. Keep it up. Xx
