Finished week 6 today - and am one of those who never thought I could (or would want to) run - but I'm truly enjoying it! 57 and a stone overweight, fittish but definitely NOT a runner. More energy generally, sleeping better and very proud of myself. Slow - not sure how far my 25 minutes takes me - but encouraged by those who say it doesn't matter. Have a holiday coming up, and may need to do weeks 8&9 over three or four weeks but hope to do my first park run at Christmas!

Well done to you Floraposte on completing week 6 of C25K, great that you have more energy and sleep better. Onwards and upwards to week 7 and then weeks 8 and 9 and 🎓 graduation😊, it doesn't matter if you repeat any weeks.

Great job and welcome to the forum. If you’re doing 25 minutes then it’s fast enough! You’ll be fine spreading weeks 8/9 out a little, and you’re certainly on schedule for parkrun at Christmas

Keep going - I'm similar age and graduated in September. Am still running 3 times a week and have managed several 7K runs. Feel so much better and actually look forward to running. Can hardly believe I am writing this!
