W2 R1 so unfit but determined

Having had 3 rounds of surgery over 15 months and no real exercise for a lot longer it’s really made me realise how unfit I now am and how much muscle tone I’d lost in that time as I’d been too low to care after 2 failed disc ops. My legs feel like lumps of concrete at the mo but I’m determined to not go into my 50s without getting on top of looking after myself again - mind, body and spirit!

Wow, you've been through the mill, no wonder you've been feeling depressed.

But follow the programme, take it slow and gentle, and you'll soon be feeling the benefits. Running is brilliant at improving your mental health as well as your physical health.

Good luck!
