I did W8R1 a week ago. Then, the subsequent rest day turned into a rest week 😬☺️ Whoops! It just so happened plans to eat out with different groups of friends ended up in the same week and I kept putting run off. Finally, I gave myself a stern talking to and got my backside out there today for the next run. I am too close to give up now! Naturally doubting my ability after a week off and eating unhealthily but it was fine!! Boy, it feels great to get it done. I will sleep well tonight 👍

Great run. Assuming running is for life, you’ll get a lot of those weeks, nothing wrong with getting one now, in fact maybe it helps... I don’t know your future plans, but having that kind of week 4 before a HM for the first time would cause panic, now you know you can handle it. Nice to see you back out there... 4 runs to the podium, enjoy them all.
