Well, that wasn't so easy so I'm glad I took the advice to keep it at a slow and steady pace. Why does it feel hard work after the last run being 20mins, but I did it! On the plus side I finished on a different route, and had to do my walk down alongside a road of heavy, mainly pedestrian, cars but I kept my head up high and was proud of the effort that clearly showed on my face! Up until Saturday I was returning home the quietest route I could find.
For the first time in a run (1st 5min one) I got a funny kind of ache/pain in the shin of my right leg. I kept going and didn't notice it after a while but I can feel it again now a bit. Any tips/advice would be gratefully received.

Good job ! I know what you mean: I’ve just moved on to week 2 and jogged less time wise than I managed in week 1, but felt much more tired. Weird ! If an unreasonable ache starts I just slow down. Seems to help 😀 All the best with the next one x
Don’t just add up the runs... that makes W6R1 shorter than W5R3... but there’s two brisk walks which make it a 4 minute longer workout, so it’s a harder run if you keep the walk speed up. If you walk it slowly, especially at this time of year, the muscles start to cool, making this one even harder than the last one!
This is also the answer to the 25 minute run at the end of week 6, you just did 24, I think the next is 25, and then there’s the just 25 at the end.
