Well I only managed to get to w1r3 till I pulled a ligament in my knee. It’s all healed now (hopefully)! Saturday I’m starting week1 again. Fingers crossed I stay pain free. 😊

Good luck for Saturday- I painfully pulled a calf muscle W1R2 when I tried to copy the impressive running style of two pony tailed athletic girls who run stylishly round my local park - I’m a short, fat old bloke so it ended badly. It took a week and a half to get better and I re-read the running tips section so I sensibly land my feet in the right place. A setback, but yesterday I did W2R1 with no pain so keep going - success lies ahead if you persevere😁
Same happened to me after same run! Felt like a muppet that I couldn’t manage a week! A pal suggested that I return really slowly - walk fast instead of running until I felt strong enough.... it’s been good advice for me. I suspect that I’ll be one of the SLOWEST graduates ever since I’m doing each week two or three times. Still, week six now. I’m finding it all really hard, but sticking with it...
