Good stuff... are you planning to go 5+1+1, 5+2, 6? I’m intrigued and my mind is thinking 5 straight and then 5 intervals would be fun one day.
going to do 1 week at 5k then 5min walk then 1k run 3 times week 1. week 2 5k run and then 5min walk and then 2k run. week 3 same but 3k at the end.then week 4 thinking 10k what do you think let me know we could try it together
So long as the other runs stay low it’s safe for sure. I’m not gonna be hitting 10k this year I don’t think... but I will maybe have a go at this in between Christmas and new year when I’m between plans as I’ll only be half a mile off 10k by then.
what about 5k 5min walk then like you said a1k then 5min walk then another 1k one week. then 2k and 5in walk another 2k and so on till you get to say 3k and then week after a 8k run then week after a 10k
I’d love to... but I have to follow my current plan... maybe after that though, I see that could help me extend beyond where I’m at then a little differently as I do enjoy long intervals, or at least I used to 😂
