Race at your pace

So in a fit of madness I’ve signed up for November’s Race at your own pace - I think it was the prospect of a pretty Tiffany-blue medal! With any luck it will give me the motivation to get through the last two weeks before graduation!

I signed up to that yesterday, never done it before, but I loved the colour of the medal. I have just been out for my W6R1 this evening, and felt that with the prospect of running further and giving me motivation to get out in the cold, I went for it. What distance have you signed up for? I’ve gone for 50 Miles!

I knew I would easily do 25, as I’m doing around 8 miles a week with my C25K training, I’ve done a couple of parkruns, (a bit of running, lots of walking) so wanted to give myself a challenge. Will see how it goes.

I’ve done a couple of 50s and a 75 which nearly killed me 😂 good luck 👌🏽

I’ve never heard of that before and when I went to the site I thought you must be mad to be running 25 miles!!🤔. But then I read it and thought that it was actually doable, so I’ve signed up for the 25 miles! So next month (all being well) not only will I graduate, but I’ll get my first running 🏅 too - can’t wait! Thanks for letting me know 👍🏼 And good luck with your medal hopes 😁

Yay!! Hopefully next month I’ll graduate too. Good luck with your 25 x

Good luck! I’ve signed up too. Committed to 25 miles but might just be able to squeeze 50. It did say there could be an option to change the miles during the challenge 🏅🙂

I’ve been doing these since may, I started off with just walking

For may I did 50,then I’ve been doing 150miles a month til last month and this month I’ve gone for 100 as the weather is changing and nights get longer, also my new attempt at running is a 5k where my walks were 10k. They really motivate me, and keep me going. I’ve also treated myself to another one from awesome running(or something like that) which is a 6” medal in 5 parts. A main back piece and 4 season pieces to celebrate 1000 miles in 2018, they’re doing one next year too... tempting
