W6R3....I think I finally believe I'm a runner and I like it!

I had to drop my car off at the garage this morning and decided to get my run in on the way back. Total distance was 2.5 miles, and I covered the 25 minute run in 2.2 miles (3.6km). It was cold! The first 10 minutes weren't particularly pleasant and my legs felt disembodied from the rest of me, but I kept on going. The main thought through my head was to just slow down when I felt tired and it worked!!

I feel like I have turned a corner in W6. I started C25K because I wanted to achieve something, prove to myself that I would finish something I started and and not to let the fear of failure beat me. It has taken me 5 months to get this far, but I don't care....I am here and actually beginning to enjoy exercise and the thought of it, which I can say I haven't done in at least the last 5-8 years. I hated the gym and had zero motivation or self love.

I didn't think I would feel like this again and if C25K gives me nothing more then I am more than happy with it, but I don't think that is all it has to give. Roll on the weeks 7 - 9. :D

Wow that's brilliant. I coasted w6r3 and w7r1 but found w7r2 tough, apparently that's not unusual. Perhaps youll just sail through but thought I'd give you a heads up. Anyway as usual the support and advice on here is great and I'm looking forward to w7r3. Keep up the great running!!
