Ok I have just finished week 2 run 3 and move up to 1.30 on Wednesday. I have never liked running especially and I have joined pure gym with my partner. I find the treadmill easier than running outside and the app counts me down walk jog etc.. it’s early days but I am definitely feeling fitter..

Anyone lacking motivation or inspiration should try this as it makes it manageable with rest days inbetween. Good luck to all :)

The Couch to 5k app also shows the count down for the walks and jogs, or you can use the podcasts, where Laura tells you your timings. It also includes rest days as an essential part of the programme. It sounds like what you're doing is pretty similar. Good luck... and happy running.
