Chilly one tonight!

Just completed W3R2 tonight and it was absolutely freezing! I’m dreading it going colder! I need to invest in some warm running gear as I’m just using a jumper at the moment but feeling like I’m melting half way round. Any suggestions please?

Well done for getting out there tonight HayleStonee! I just bought myself some Nike tops for the colder weather. Two dry wicking tops and a very light weight thermal top. I wore one of the dry wicking ones and the thermal one yesterday afternoon and really felt the benefit. They weren't cheap all together, but I thought it was worth the investment.

As Schmeeley71 says, wicking tops are a good idea and maybe s lightweight showerproof jacket. Doesn’t have to be expensive. Try Decathlon, supermarkets, online. Aldi and Lidl usually have some good gear too but not sure when their next running events are.

I got some stuff both aldi and lidl few weeks ago when someone mentioned it on here, so I think it may have passed unless they have anything left over.

Hey, I go out with Karrimor base layer and then a thin hoody over the top, with thin hat and gloves (also Karrimor).. I end up by the end of the run roasting. The cold air is actually quite nice to breath in. I find it refreshing or it could be just me
