Hi all - I’m on R2w5 and absolutely loving it all so far! I’ve heard that it gets tough at week 6 though - have any of you found that? Also as it’s getting a bit colder I was thinking of getting a running jacket - could anyone recommend a good one? Thanks so much ! 😊

The problem I think a lot of people have - from reading posts on here - is getting over-confident after running 20min straight in week 5, and starting W6R1 too fast because it looks easy by comparison. I found it pretty easy TBH, having heeded advice not to do that!

I have no idea if what I just bought was a good jacket, but I did a little research and chose a softshell regatta, the best bit was that it cost me just £8.65 (reduced from £49.99!!!) on their website sale, to maybe take a look on there for a bargain.

Thank you so much !

I'm on w5r2, too, going out once my brekkie goes down in about an hour. I wouldn't worry what others find tough, the advice is the same every week, don't go too fast find your rhythm, don't forget to breathe...etc.I have a running jacket from decathlon, the nearest they seem to do now is called kalenji run wind. Mines good because it has a roll away and detachable hood plus you can scrunch it down and hold in one hand if you get to hot and have to take it off. Plus its bright coral pink so they'll certainly see me coming.
