Onto week 8 now just completed run 2. Not been the best week as I’ve had a cold which was at its worst Monday but managed to get run 1 in Tuesday which was hard was blowing hard at 22 mins and had stitch for the last five but just managed it.
Decided to slow it down today as wasn’t really motivated felt all the way through that I was struggling but the last 10 mins seemed to be the easiest bit ,I picked up the pace and ran for 31:43 not quite 5k only 0.08 off!
Going to have a couple of days off and maybe tackle run 3 Sunday.

Flex, I've never discouraged anyone to go for it with regard to discipline & motivation but it seems to me that you may have pushed yourself to run this week when you needed to rest. Remember to be kind to yourself, you don't need to race against, beat or challenge anyone else's journey. You will complete this, you will get there because you are of strong character. You won't lose any fitness by waiting until you are well, you'll just prevent a setback.
