Yesterday I managed what I believe was the toughest run to date. Week 6 run 3 was hard work. The first ten was fine, but as I started to settle Laura was demanding I walk! That second ten minutes was hard to get into, and I was tired. But we soldier on! I can’t say I will be sorry to lose the walking breaks, as i feel ready to get out there and run now.
Got my gait analysis sorted as I’m getting serious now, and I’m very happy with my ASICS. I was hoping for some even brighter ones but What a difference the new shoes made. No more sore calves for now at least. Over 25 minutes from now on!!

They are very clean! Not for long I guess. Well done on your run/walk. Just starting W6 and I’m keen to keep the running going too. Walking in between seems like going backwards - but am trusting the system…. 😀
I can’t wait to just “go running”. I have followed the plan to the letter so far. And gone from couldn’t breathe after 45 seconds to where I am today! Good luck.
Ah yes, I too found going back to the intervals very demanding. As you say, trust in the programme. It works. Great new runners by the way. Best bit of kit I invested in and really helped with my running.
Enjoy the rest of the program. I am confident you will smash it 👍
