Wk5r1 done and wasn’t too bad!!!

I had to really drag myself out of bed to do this run before work and dropping kids at breakfast Club. I’m so glad I did though! I was amazed that the 3 runs really felt ok, and I think this is a first for me?! all the runs before this have felt tough, been out of breath and pushing myself but today was so different!

I wouldn’t go so far as to say I enjoyed it yet, but didn’t dislike it either! I’m feeling ok about doing r2 in a couple of days but still dreading R3!!!

Like others have said on this forum, I never thought I’d get into running until doing this program (I’m 46) it really does take you by surprise!

It is exciting when you realise you are beginning to look forward to the runs. I am on W6 and I haven't always enjoyed my runs when I have been out on them but the feeling afterwards keeps me wanting more!

46? A babe in arms compared to some of us! I admire that you get out of bed and run, I have to wait several hours before my creaking joints are ready for any kind of exertion.
