So one year ago, at Week 4, Run 1, I posted on here that I seemed to have hurt my ankle & asked for advice. It turned out to be a stress fracture (top tip - don’t carry on running if your ankle REALLY hurts half way through a run!).
Anyway, one year on via fracture clinics, a physiotherapist & a podiatrist I now have tailor-made insoles which will hopefully stop my foot from turning in (which it does, & which caused the fracture)(combined with Sheffield pavements!).
So here I am, Week One, Run one today. Back to the beginning. Fingers (or toes!) crossed!
