Feeling frustrated that’s a week since I hurt my ankle, tried a light walk yesterday but after 10 mins headed back for ice pack, looking forward to when I will be able to rejoin c25k but think I might have to go back a few weeks when I do 😟

Hey there I started this app in April I never brought the proper running gear. Then ended up with a inflamed tendon. So two weeks rest. Then I started from the beginning of the app with the proper running gear. I completed the app in July stuck to a run day then day off so aimed for 3 runs a week. Now I've been struck off with runners knee maybe with a heel spur aswell. Gotta wait for physio appointment to confirm everything. I love running gives me such a fix. Now I feel a failure due to my body. Missing it already so understand your frustration. As terminater once said I'll be back. X

Ankles have a relatively poor blood supply, so take some time to heal. Don't rush it.
Cycling can be helpful as it keeps the joint mobile without load bearing and improves the circulation.
I was off running for nearly a month after I turned my ankle, although I walked daily.
