Thinking I might actually be able to do this!

I’ve been running on & off (due to a rotten cold) for 5 weeks. I’m not overweight but just don’t feel fit or healthy.

I’ve loved doing the couch to 5k as it’s given me the confidence to run.

Today I started week3 (repeated other weeks after being poorly) & found a comfortable pace & managed to run 3k.

Never in my dreams did I think I could run consistently for that long & I actually loved it!!

Keep on going, you’re doing great- despite illness you’re back out there. That shows me that you like it.

It’s so hard in some aspects we hadn’t thought of isn’t it? However, I keep telling myself the rewards are worth it already.

See you around fellow runner! Pam

Great job. There’s a lot of correlation between weight and health, but not between weight and fitness. Like you I wasn’t overweight when I started this, but I was completely unfit. Not any more and your fitness is certainly kicking in now. Soon what you are running now will be your warmup... ain’t that exciting?
