1st epic fail

I am so dissapointed with myself as it was w9r1 and i only managed 15 minutes and i had to stop. Tried to run again after a few minutes and i couldn't even manage a minute more. It's the first run I've not completed. I struggled with my breathing from the get go. Not been feeling 100% and it was very hot at 3pm today. I am hoping it's just that and i will be ok on my next run. Gutted!

That’s certainly not a fail... you weren’t 100% and you gave it a go anyway. Well done on that score. Sometimes runs suck and you’re in week 9 before you got one that combined with you being out of sorts. Just look at what you’ve achieved, rest well and go again.

No fails on here AJ77. You ran for 15 minutes and 9 weeks ago you couldn't do that. Also theres millions out there who can't do what you do. Your not 100% so just consider it a little extra training run. When you are 100% get out there, take it slow and steady and you'll crush it!!

I never really thought about it like that. That's made me feel better.

Hey, don’t be gutted. We all get good days and bad days. You did 15 minutes well done. Week 9 - that’s fab! Your body is telling you, that’s enough today.

See you around fellow runner! Pam.

Hey you didn’t fail. No such thing. We all have less than perfect runs sometimes, but they all count. Put it down as a practise run, get yourself feeling better, then head out again.

Chin up! 😀👍👊

No fail there! Weeks 7 8&9 are interesting! Sometimes it’s hard to say goodbye to the voice in your ear and own your running voice all on your own!

As others have said, not a fail, just a practice run ( I’ve had a few)plus your not 100%. Once you feel better, you’ll smash it. Stay warm🙃👍🏻

Definitely agree with other posters. Some days you have a good run, others not so good. Maybe change the time of your next run, choose your favourite route, and if you use music, your top 10 tracks so you feel positive from the outset; I tend to do better if I go out immediately after I get home from work and before I have a cup of tea than if I sit down and have a brew first, so changing those environmental factors can help. Cheers to you for your next run
