Ok, so I’ve had 2 and a half weeks off with what was assumed (by GP) to be MCL injury on left leg. It’s got much better so tonight was the night to try a light run.
It would appear that when running, my knee actually feels ok and quite strong.
BUT...
When I’m at walking pace, that’s when I feel pain in the same location as before (although far less).
Anyone any ideas?
All v strange.

I’ve actually lived with this in the last few weeks and I don’t understand it. However I took 3 days off and now I’m running and walking without any pain.
The only way i can explain it is that while running and walking use the same muscles, they stress them in different ways and at different points along them.
